Registration: USA Cycling – Keen Wealth Classic
On November 12th Big D Cycling and Keen Wealth Management will be hosting the 2017 Keen Wealth Classic at the Wyandotte County Lake Park at the Beach Shelter. If you attended the 2016 event you know that the large overlooking spectator area offered excellent viewing of the start/finish line, the beach, and the lake. An informal poll following the race came back with racers and spectators commenting positively about this excellent venue.
For 2017 we will be hosting the Kansas State Cyclocross Age State Championship event. KCA KBCXR/KBXST 2X Individual points awarded. Individual and team points per 2016 KCA KMCXR/KBCXT rules. KBCXR winners receive one free entry.
Registration fee is $30.00. If you would like to ride in more than one race there will be a $15.00 add-on per/each. Online registration closes at 10:00 am CST on Saturday November 11th. Additional fees will apply for late online and on-site registrations. Day of race registration begins at 8:30 am. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to posted race start time.
The 2017 Keen Wealth Classic will be held under USAC Even Permit #2017-3014. All USAC cyclocross rules apply. USA Cycling license required for all riders. One-day beginner (women 4 or men 5) license will be available for purchase Purchase a USA Cycling One-day License
You must have an annual license and be a Kansas resident to qualify for KS State Championship medals. Event will be held rain or shine. CPSC approved helmets must be worn by all participants while riding at any time.
Prizes: Cash, paid out to all classes per/awarded category – three deep for Men and Women Cat. 1/2 and three deep for Men and Women 3/4 and Masters.
Junior riders will race FREE! Kansas youth racing is sponsored through the gracious support of Keen Wealth Advisors and the Kansas Cycling Association. Prizes for Junior class riders are awarded three deep.
Big D Cycling is known for putting on a great after-race party, this year will be no exception!
